Introduction of a company-wide intranet

This project started out as the migration of a legacy enterprise wiki to a new platform. During the requirements engineering phase it was discovered that there is the need for a whole new, modern and personalized intranet platform. We supported the client, who is from the vacation sector, by designing, prototyping and customizing this solution based on SharePoint Online.

Beeing from the entertainment sector this client has a large number of subsidiaries. Requirements Engineering for a large-scale insurance consulting solution

This is actually not a single project but rather multiple projects with differient clients, who are all unsatisfied with their current SharePoint based IntraNet. My work includes kick-off workshops with the clients, in which we identify the pain-points and then engineer requirements and build prototypes for better smart workplaces.

Full-scale usability testing of a mobile webshop

A client from the eCommerce sector hired us to plan and execture a full-scale usability test for their improved mobile webshop. We build a test-lab setup for participants with both iOS and Android devices and produced a results-presentation with recommendations as well as a highlight-video from the recorded footage.

In this project our client was a very large automobile OEM. Their goal was to completly switch their requirements engineering software. Because they had creative leeway on the new UI they hired us to support them with usability engineering measures in order to optimize the new UI.

This was my first project after my transition from a developer to our usability team. YAKINDU SCT is an eclipse-based statechart editor and modeling tool. I provided usability support for the UI with small scale usability tests, reviews, prototypes and mockups.

Integration of a risk- and fraudmanagement provider

While the technical connection to the external risk- and fraudmanagement provider was only an initial step, the project included configuring the system and integrating it into the existing riskmanagement solution. SEPA Conversion

This project was again done with a client from the eCommerce sector. We supported the customer in their goal to switch from old bankaccount data to the new standardized SEPA format. Migration of a proprietary ERP-System into an existing SAP

This huge project was my first commercial project as an IT-Consultant. The customer was a well-known eCommerce company. My part in the project was the validation, revision and migration of existing customer data according to the new system constraints as well as the development of new features for customer data handling.

Gamification - Theory and practical applications

This was my diploma thesis. Over the span of six months i researched the state-of-the-art of gamification products available, researched on the psychological foundation behind the concept, analysed the most popular game mechanics and their application value and developed a small gamified prototype for the university library.

A Metamodel Approach To Generating Visualisations

This was a thesis on which i worked on individually for three month. The goal was to support the scientific branch of 'enterprise architecture management' at OFFIS Institute of Computer Science in Oldenburg. Goal of this project was to develop a prototype that was able to demonstrate the generative approach of visualisations on the basis of large scale dynamic enterprise models.

TORF - Team Oldenburger Robo-Fußball (RoboSoccer)

During this project i was part of a team of ten students. Our goal was to develop AI-clients for the RoboCup 2D-simulation competetion.
