Handball
I am an active handballer for over 25 years. During my childhood i tried many different sports like football and table-tennis but eventually found my passion in handball. Playing actively during all my adolescence and my time at the university helped me stay active and living out my competetive nature. Handball also had a huge impact on my character as i learned how important a teamspirit is. In the last years i began coaching youth teams and giving my experience to younger players. I am currently holding a B-Trainerslicence for Handball.

Scuba Diving
I learned scuba diving in 2014 prior to my first vacation in Egypt. Instantly i fell in love with the feeling of relaxation and freedom you experience while under water. It is fascinating to be a guest in an environment where life is so different. The underwater nature in the red sea is mindblowing. Since then i tried to maintain diving as frequently as possible, with diving in the middle sea at Sardinia and second visit to Egypt as well as regular visits to indoor diving centers in germany.

Gaming
I enjoy playing video games since i got my very own Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990. My older brother was a huge influence as he always had the latest games. At the age of 12 i got my first PC and at around 14 we got our first 33,6K analog modem which opened the world to the internet for me. Here i discovered my love for competitive games and made a lot of good and close from all over the country. To this very day sitting down and playing some games is one of my favorite ways to relax from a day's work and to have some fun with friends.

Kicker
You may know it as 'table soccer' or 'foosball', but in Germany we call it 'Kicker'. It's a very fun game that everyone can pick up and play right away. I started at very young age in summer camps, then later on we had a table in the school cafeteria, and after that i played regularly in our university pub and eventually i ended up in a company which has a table as well. I am by no means a pro-player, but i can hold my own against the average Joe. Nowadays a have my own table at home and enjoy practicing as well as playing against friends as often as possible.

Video / Image editing
As a lot of other kids i had tons of fun with the first versions of MS Paint back in the day. Later i had access to Corel Draw 4 and enjoyed playing around with that. When I spent more timing browsing the internet, i got curious how to create personal websites. So i learned html, but i also wanted cool looking logos, buttons and visuals on my sites. So i tried whatever image editing tool i could get my hands on at that time. Finally, not too long ago i bought a GoPro Camera to film while diving and discovered that video editing is at least as much fun as image editing.

Single Malt Whisky
For the longest time i was not a huge of whisky. I thought it just tasted gross especially when mixed with cola. My first pleasant experience was during the Jameson Distillery Tour in Dublin, which had a small tasting session at the end. Some time later a friend who lived in England at that time offered me a glass of Glenfarclas 30y. At first i marveled at the Grappa-Style shotglas he handed me and then the smell and taste blew my mind. Since then i maintain a small, slowly growing collection. I enjoy offering them when friends come over. My current favorite is the Balvenie 14y/o Caribbean Cask.
